The School of Engineering and Physical Sciences is keen to attract students who are studying on HNC, HND or Access Programmes at college or are studying for Highers and in receipt of the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA.)

Entry requirements

Admission to programmes at Heriot-Watt University is by individual assessment in which experience and skills are valued alongside formal qualifications. Similarly, evidence of motivation, understanding of the aims of a proposed programme of study, referees’ reports, and further information supplied by applicants are also important.

International students who do not meet the entry requirements can study a degree preparation course at the International Study Centre.
